Marketing and Experience Design
Our company designed the Tourist Development Strategy for the “Ruta del Tequila” (The Tequila Route) supported by the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) in coordination with the Tequila Regulations Council (CRT).
Regional, urban and commercial integration of five counties that comprise the “Ruta del Tequila” (Tequila, Amatitán, El Arenal, Magdalena and Teuchitlan). Tourist products diversification and experience guide.
oday the “Ruta del Tequila” comprises three more counties: Ahualulco del Mercado, San Juanito de Escobedo and Etzatlan, and is one of the best positioned routes in the country as a tourist, cultural and multi-thematic destination and as promoter of the agave (tequila cactus) landscape and of the old tequila installations that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The “Ruta del Tequila” success has created interest in knowing and duplicating this social and economic regional development model, as in the case of international tourist products such as Colombia’s “Ruta del Cafe” (Coffee Route).
